Cap One 100 mg cap tds or one 300 mg cap daily. Maintenance: Two 100 mg cap daily. TabHypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia (type IIa, IIb)Adult 160 mg daily. Max: 160 mg daily. Hypertriglyceridemia (type IV & V) Initially 50-160 mg once daily; adjust dose after repeated lipid tests at 4-8 wk intervals. Max: 160 mg daily.
Cap Patients w/ hepatic or severe renal dysfunction. Tab Gallbladder disease, hypersensitivity to fenofibrate including severe skin rashes, active liver disease, primary biliary cirrhosis, unexplained persistent liver function abnormality, nursing mothers, severe renal dysfunction.
